What is Freemasonry?
Integrity • Friendship • Respect • Charity

Freemasonry is about making new friends and acquaintances and being able to help deserving causes – making a positive contribution to family and society. Guided by four important principles integrity, friendship, respect and charity, Freemasonry is a most rewarding pastime and hobby that’s enjoyed by all its members.

Membership is open to people from all backgrounds and the organisation’s aim is to empower members to be the best they can be – it teaches self-knowledge and assurance through participation in a progression of ceremonies and nowadays our members are encouraged to speak openly about Freemasonry.

Freemasonry means different things to those that join. Whether you are looking to make new friends, enjoy the many social activities, explore the history, or simply take up a new hobby, becoming a Freemason opens up a world of choice for you and your family.

If you are aged over 18, we would welcome the opportunity to meet with you and answer any questions you may have.

If you are interested in joining our Lodge, or would like to know more about Freemasonry, then please email us via the details on the contact page.
